In a 7 week class that you come to once a week, you will learn how to establish yourself as as a leader, solve behavioral problems ( nipping, jumping, housebreaking, etc...). You will learn basic obedience commands heel, sit stay, down stay, stand stay and come when called. On the last week of class you will also be given the opportunity to take the Canine Good Citizenship test. These things will help your dog be more attentive and help develop a greater respect for you. Advanced training and in home training are also available.
The Purpose of the AKC Canine Good Citizenship test is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community. The CGC program is designed to reward dogs that have good manners at home and in the community. All dogs that pass receive a certificate from AKC and are automatically recorded in the AKC archives. Any dog can take the test, mixed breed or registered breed. To receive the CGC certificate, the dog must take the 10 item Canine Good Citizen Test.
We are located in south Arlington, at South Cooper Street and Harris Street. For map and directions click here
